Rev. Kisongo Biography
Rev. Kisongo Ildephonse Mbeleulu, native of Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, is currently preparing his Masters Degree in International Development. Former University Chaplain in Bukavu, in 1994-1998 he directed the department of Peace and Reconciliation at the Council of Protestant Churches, the “Church of Christ in Congo” (ECC), South Kivu Province where he gained an extensive experience in peacemaking issues.
Rev. Kisongo is also a co-founder of the Council of Peace and Reconciliation (COPARE) which he represents in the USA. He joined the CACPD in 2008.
Married to Jeanne, Rev. Kisongo and family are involved in working with the Faith Based organization and the Congolese Diaspora in Minnesota.
